About Me

I started playing golf as a 12 year old, when I joined Camberley Heath golf club. I was quickly hooked and at the age of 17 was down to scratch and won my first major national junior event.

This victory was the catalyst to an illustrious amateur career which saw me represent both Surrey and England at Boys, Youth and Senior level.

At the age of 23 I turned professional and started competing on the south region circuit. Having won the Southern Professionals, Surrey Masters, British Assistants as well as over 50 Pro events, I progressed to the Challenge tour and finally the European Tour alongside the worlds greats in events such as the PGA Championship at Wentworth.

As a tournament player I was always a keen student of the game and the mechanics of the golf swing. I've worked with some of the most renowned coaches in the country and spent countless hours watching and learning from the top golfers in the world, both on the range and the golf course.

During this time a few things have always stuck with me:

  • Everyone is different, no one technique works for all
  • The best swings are built on solid fundamentals
  • Keep things simple, nobody can play good golf with too many technical thoughts
  • Learn and understand how YOUR swing works
  • Practice with a purpose, to get better
  • On the golf course, concentrate 100% on each and every shot, never give up
  • Enjoy your game, golf is the greatest sport in the world
